The Creative Institute is offering a free Year 12 Media feedback opportunity for students completing their ATAR or General Media productions term 3.
On Wednesday 12 August, we will be running bookable feedback slots at The Backlot, West Perth, across two session windows:
11:00am–1:00pm
5:00pm–7:00pmThese sessions are designed for students who have a draft edit and would benefit from clear, practical feedback before final submission.
Students will receive feedback from top Media graduates with industry experience, with a focus on helping them refine their concept, story, intent, editing, sound, visuals, codes and conventions.
The aim is not to replace teacher feedback, but to give students an additional industry-informed perspective at a crucial stage in the production process. Students will leave with specific, actionable advice they can apply directly to strengthen their final film.
Places are strictly limited and will be offered on a first in, first served basis. Schools will be able to book a slot within either the 11:00am–1:00pm or 5:00pm–7:00pm session window. Students will also be able to book independently with a parent/guardian if their teacher or school is unable to attend.
Students should bring their draft edit (max 7 minutes).
