The 3|Thirty animation competition is back on again for its sixth year from April 1st – June 30th. There is a category just for school students, cost is $10 per film submission. Please encourage your students interested in animation to register and have a go, they have a chance to win a great prize.
It would be great to see more schools get behind this competition and integrate more animation into school media programs. Animation and VFX is an emerging industry in WA. There is currently a strong demand for animation and VFX services from many different industries. Additionally, the film industry is expecting to see large growth upon completion of the Whiteman Park film studios which will see a large increase in demand for animation and VFX artists.
